Who am I?
I was born and raised in Colombia, South America. Though I have a passion for science, what truly brings me joy is connecting with my community and learning from others; this passion led me to pursue a medical doctor degree. In 2021, I moved to the United States and completed a certificate program in Mind-Body Medicine at the Center for Mind-Body Medicine (CMBM). Over the past 2 years, I have been facilitating Mind-Body Skills groups for indigenous people, Latin American immigrants, and women from underserved communities. I am deeply passionate about mental health, public health, Integrative medicine, Mind-Body Medicine, and decolonization.
